La scorsa notte il Beverly Hilton Hotel di Beverly Hills ha accolto gli annuali Golden Globes, i premi conferiti ai migliori film e programmi televisivi da una giuria composta da 90 giornalisti iscritti alla Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
Nonostante la concorrenza davvero agguerrita, è stata la pellicola “Bohemian Rhapsody” ad aggiudicarsi il premio di “Miglior film drammatico“, battendo persino l’acclamato “A star is born” di Bradley Cooper, stato costretto ad accontentarsi del premio “Miglior canzone originale” andato a “Shallow“. E’ proprio grazie alla pellicola ispirata alla vita di Freddie Mercury che il protagonista Rami Malek si è imposto come protagonista assoluto della serata conquistando il premio più ambito, quello di “Miglior attore in un film drammatico”.
Anche i premi conferiti alla TV si sono resi protagonisti di alcuni colpi di scena sbalorditivi: lo è stato senz’altro il momento in cui il cast della serie TV “The Americans” è salito sul palco per ritirare il Globo d’Oro per la “Miglior Serie Drammatica“, il primo mai ricevuto dallo show e conquistato proprio grazie alla sua sesta ed ultima stagione. Sorprendente è stato anche il premio come “Miglior performance in una serie televisiva” assegnato a Richard Madden grazie al suo ruolo in “Bodyguard“: alla sua prima nomination in una kermesse tanto importante, il 32enne ha battuto il favorito Matthew Rhys di “The Americans“.
